I really like the design, and it does feel solid overall. That said, I’m not sure if I’m being too picky, but I expected it to be a little more comfortable. It’s not bad at all, just not quite as comfy as I hoped.

I picked up a True Temper rake and shovel, and they feel sturdy for what I paid. Shipping wasn’t the fastest, but it wasn’t a big deal. Overall I’m happy with them and would probably buy again as long as the price stays reasonable.

Just a warning for anyone thinking about buying this: the assembly was way more frustrating than I expected. Some of the parts didn’t line up very well, and the instructions were vague in spots. I did eventually get it put together, but it took a lot longer than it should have. Definitely be prepared to spend extra time on it.

I don’t even know what happened with this order. Shipping took way longer than expected, and the tracking barely updated the whole time, so I had no idea where my package was. Then it finally shows up late with the box all smashed up. Like, make it make sense. Definitely not a great experience.

Once they got back to me, they approved the claim and sent out a replacement without much trouble at all. It definitely wasn’t the fastest customer service, but they did come through and take care of it.

I bought this True Temper tool thinking it would be one of those solid, dependable tools you keep around for years, like a shovel you grab for mulch, dirt, leaves, garden cleanup, random yard fixes, all that normal stuff. Unfortunately, the handle ended up being the problem almost immediately.

After just a few regular uses, it started flexing way more than it should have, and then it cracked near the head. I wasn’t prying up rocks, digging out tree roots, breaking up concrete, yanking on fence posts, or doing anything crazy like that. Just basic yard work, the kind of stuff this tool should handle without making you nervous.

For the price, it’s disappointing. Now every time I’d go to use it, I’d be wondering if the handle is going to snap, split, bend, or just completely give up. I’ve had cheaper tools, older tools, hand-me-down tools, and even random garage-sale tools feel sturdier than this. I wouldn’t buy it again.

I tried using True Temper and it was frustrating. The menus felt all over the place, and I kept clicking around just to end up back where I started. Finding basic info shouldnt have been that hard. It just wasnt very easy to use.
